About Us

David J.Wartel, Ph.D., a licensed psychologist and cognitive behavioral therapist, has been in practice since 1978. He is a member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, the Trichotillomania Learning Center, and Children and Adults with Attention Deficit (CHAAD). Dr. Wartel works with homebound persons and provides services in the natural environment. He has consulted for mental health agencies and school districts. He has presented papers at professional conferences on depression in women, the influence of setting factors on panic attacks, psychological issues for persons suffering from balance disorders, and applying P technique to behavioral assessment at the Detroit Medical Center, Behavioral Analysts Association of Michigan, and the University of Michigan Medical Center.

Doris A. Wartel, M.S. has been a cognitive behavior therapist since 1989. She posesses Masters in Science in clinical/behavioral psychology and is a member of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies. She has presented papers on on non-sequential high frequency analysis of problem behaviors, brain injury recovery treatment analysis, anxiety treatment, and fatigue analysis
